AMANDA DAWN MILLER Amanda, at the age of 21, heard the voice of God calling her home on Thursday, March 20, 2008, after a long, extended illness. Amanda lived in Newnan and Carrollton, Georgia. She was born on October 9, 1986 in Riverdale, Georgia, to Rusty and Judy Miller. Amanda attended Landmark Christian School in Fairburn, Georgia for five years and was a graduate of East Coweta High School where she was #7 in her class. She started college in The Advanced Academy in Carrollton a year early and was currently enrolled at the University of West Georgia where she was finishing up her senior year working on a degree in Political Science. Amanda was a wonderful person. Her love for God was so much more than you could imagine. She always had this radiant glow to her and a smile that was never ending. She carried the burden of the world on her shoulders and had a special love for Africa. That is just the kind of person Amanda was, a loving, caring disciple of God. She also had a real passion for the arts including theatre and music. Surviving this great loss is her best friend and mother, Judy Miller of Newnan, Georgia, her movie watching buddy and loving father, Rusty Miller of Carrollton, Georgia, her brother that she adored and loved dearly, Michael Miller of Chico, California, and half sisters, Jackie Banks of Pendergrass, Georgia and Stephanie Larson of Ohio. Also, Richard and Carol Fullerton, maternal grandparents of Orlando, Florida; and Lee and Marcell Miller, paternal grandparents of Cape Coral, Florida. Many loving aunts and uncles: Jan and Tom Sacklyn, Joyce and John Hart, Jane Bright, Jill and Graham Hood, Jack Fullerton, J.C. Fullerton, Sean Fullerton and Seth Fullerton, Lita and Gerena Olmos and Ed and Patty Miller. Her cousins are Anna, Nathanael, Deborah, Noah, Taylor, Ashley, Angel, Matthew, Rachel and Alexandra. Visitation will be held at McKoon Funeral Home, located at 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, Georgia from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, March 24, 2008. The celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at SonRise Baptist Church, 6 Shenandoah Boulevard in Newnan, Georgia, Tuesday March, 25, 2008 at 6:00 PM.
