Carl Kenneth Wiggers, Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Carl K. Wiggers, Jr., beloved husband, father, and proud U.S. Navy veteran. Carl was born on July 18, 1955, in Albany, NY, to Carl K. Wiggers, Sr., and Mary Ann Hormuth Wiggers. Carl is preceded in death by his father, Carl K Wiggers, Sr. and brother, Ronald Wayne Wiggers. Born with a deep sense of duty and a heart full of love, Carl dedicated much of his life to service - both to his country and to those he held dear. He attended Florida State University, where he graduated with a PreMed degree, and went on to Dental School at Emory University, graduating in 1981. He then served honorably in the United States Navy, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, where he forged lifelong bonds and exemplified courage, integrity, and commitment. After his military service, Carl continued to pursue excellence, earning his MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and building a successful career with the same discipline and drive that marked his time in uniform. But beyond his professional and military achievements, his devotion to his family and community truly defined him as a local business owner of U Dirty Dog in Newnan. He found his passion as a cyclist, where he made bonds and memories with other fellow cyclists. He was a loving and loyal husband to Marcia and a proud, guiding presence in the lives of his children, Roni and Trey. His warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength were the foundation of their home, and his memory will live on in their hearts forever. Carl will be remembered for his unwavering sense of honor, his deep laughter, and the countless ways he showed up for the people he loved. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Crossroads Church, 2564 GA- 154, Newnan, GA 30265, with military honors. The family requests for those attending to wear Carl's favorite color red. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.mckoon.com. Carl leaves behind his beloved wife, Marcia Woolcutt Wiggers of Senoia, GA; mother, Mary Ann Hormouth Wiggers; daughter, Roni Henderson and her husband Troy, of Newnan, GA, and son, Carl "Trey" Wiggers, III, of Newnan.
