Christopher Michael "Bugger or Bear" Johnson, 29, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on September 11, 1996, in Manama, Bahrain he brought light and creativity into the world from the very beginning. Chris grew up in Georgia and graduated from Newnan High School before pursuing higher education at Georgia State University. He later earned his degree in Mass Communication from the University of West Georgia. His academic journey reflected his deep interest in media and storytelling-a passion that would shape much of his creative life. Music was at the heart of Chris's world. He poured his soul into performing with his band "Moreland" and also explored his individual artistry through a solo project called "Hellscene." Whether on stage or in the studio, Chris found joy and purpose in sound, rhythm, and expression. His music resonated (sometimes a little too loud) with those who heard it, leaving an imprint that will not be forgotten. Chris also had a keen eye for fashion. From bold streetwear to carefully chosen sneakers, he expressed himself through style as much as through sound. His wardrobe was a reflection of his vibrant personality-always unique, always confident. He treasured every moment with family and friends, always making others feel truly seen and loved. Known for his warm hugs and generous spirit, Chris filled every room with comfort and laughter. His love for animals was just as deep. He shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved dog, Cloe, whose memory stayed close to his heart, and he dearly adored his cat, Carti, who misses him every day. Chris is lovingly remembered by his parents, Michael and Loretta Johnson; his grandfather, William Johnson; and his grandparents, Edwardo and Norma Zapata. He is also held close in the hearts of his longtime girlfriend, Caren, and their cherished cat, Cartier "Carti." He joins his grandmother, Mary Johnson, and his beloved dog, Cloe, who brought him comfort throughout his life. May Christopher's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire those who carry forward the music, love, and style he so passionately shared with the world.
