Cowan "Bentley" Moore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Cowan Bentley Moore, who left us too soon at the age of 14. Bentley was born on January 6, 2010, and filled our lives with joy, laughter, and love. Bentley was known for his goofy personality and for always making people laugh. He had a heart of gold and always wanted to make sure everyone was happy. He loved playing video games and football at Evans Middle School. Bentley had a passionate soul, an unwavering love for music and football, and his enthusiasm for life was contagious. He approached each day with a spirit that inspired everyone around him. Bentley was the best brother and was so helpful with his brothers. He was respectful to everyone he met. Bentley also wanted to be the best at anything he set his mind to do. He attended Sargeant Baptist Church. To know Bentley is to love him, and anywhere he went, anyone he met, he left a mark on their heart. Bentley will forever be loved and missed, but he will absolutely never be forgotten. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Bentley's life will be celebrated on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Though Bentley may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in our hearts and memories. His laughter, his love, his zest for life - these are the things we will always remember. Rest in peace, dear Bentley. Bentley is survived by his parents, Cassie Moore and Ian Newman; siblings, Brayden, Zeppelin, Travis, and Addie; maternal granddad, Randy (Lynn) Moore; maternal grandmother, Myrtle (Sammy); paternal grandparents, Chris and Wendy Newman; aunts, Tifanni, Jessica, Randi, Marissa, Taylor, and Lauren; uncles, Matt, John Ryan, and Justin; grandparents by love, Warren, Taylor, and Bradley. He also leaves behind cousins, numerous friends, and extended family who will dearly miss him.
