In loving memory, Donna Lee Wilson, born on July 2nd, 1947, gracefully departed this world on December 28th, 2023. A cherished daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her presence touched the lives of many with warmth and affection. Donna Lee Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ruby Downs and Hubert Downs, as well as her brothers, Perry and Paul Williams. In the embrace of eternal rest, she joins her departed loved ones, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her sister, Mary McDonald, and Mary's husband, Jerry McDonald. Donna Lee Wilson's legacy lives on through her children: daughter Dawn Mullis and husband Casey Mullis, daughter Lynn Wilson, son Clint Wilson and wife Traci Wilson, and son Jimmy Wilson and wife Sondra Wilson. Her memory is also cherished by numerous grandchildren, including Kristen Cole, Jessica Collins, Casilee Harper, Aubrey Axton, Emily New, Macie Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Kala Wilson, Candis Christopher, and Sara Wilson. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Madisyn Foster, Kyndal Foster, Kynsley Collins, Lincoln Cole, Imogen Cole, Bryson Axton, Rhylie New, Kylie New, Leah Newby, Atlas Sewell, Everleigh Christopher, Lukas Wilson, Henry Cisneros, Dylan Cisneros, Liam Sanchez, Jacob Jr. Smith, and Jack Smith, carry forward the love and warmth she shared with them. Fondly known as Grandma to both family and friends, Donna Wilson was a true earthly angel. Her open heart welcomed everyone, embracing them with a love that knew no bounds. In her presence, many found comfort, kindness, and the enduring warmth of a genuine, caring soul. Grandma poured an abundance of love into the lives of her children and grandchildren, but it was her special affection for her "babies," the great-grandkids, that truly illuminated her heart. Her joy and tenderness knew no bounds when it came to these little ones who held a cherished place in her loving embrace. Grandma not only embraced her role as a beloved family member but also stood as the best friend our family could have ever wished for. We are profoundly grateful for the blessing of having her as our grandmother, a divine presence whose love and friendship enriched our lives in ways beyond measure. Grandma's uniqueness and unparalleled warmth left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her irreplaceable presence made her truly one of a kind, and her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were touched by her extraordinary love. As we bid farewell for now, Grandma, our love for you remains eternal. Until we meet again, your memory will live on in the love, laughter, and warmth you shared with us all.
