Jeffrey "Jeff" LeClair

Mr. Jeffrey "Jeff" LeClair, age 60, of Senoia, Georgia, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 31st, 2025. He was born January 9th, 1965 in London, Ontario Canada to the late Orville LeClair and his mother, Lorraine Petch. Jeff is survived by his wife, Tamara LeClair, a son, Cullen LeClair of Clearwater, Florida; daughter, Morgan LeClair of Greensboro, North Carolina. The visitation is Friday, April 4th, 2025 between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, Georgia. Jeff grew up in Sarnia, Ontario where he played semi-pro hockey for various teams including the Guelph Platers, London Knights, and Kitchener Rangers. He held the record for the most penalty minutes, and played with and against great players like Kirk Muller, Bobby Ore, and Ray LeBlanc. He said some of his greatest moments were defending Wayne Gretzky and watching Wayne score. He is a graduate of Waterloo University with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics, and was a member of the Freemasons Fraternity. He loved going outside, smoking a nice cigar, and working on his computer. When he wasn't working he loved to go fishing, even if he didn't catch anything. There are few that worked harder than Jeff. He spent his career within the manufacturing and transportation industries; employed by Toyota, Caterpillar, Basin Holdings, XPO Logistics, Volvo Group, SANY America, & JBH Transportation. His main area of expertise was in logistics and supply chain. His knowledge in this area was extensive, and combined with his work ethic he created quite a name for himself within the industry. Jeff dedicated countless hours to his work, and his extensive resume is a product of his industriousness. Although he was a hard worker, he also knew how to live life to the fullest. He was a fun-loving man and made fast friends with anyone he met. He loved to take road trips and explore new towns and cities close to home. When he wasn't exploring he spent time creating wonderful memories with family, loved-ones, and his many friends.
