John Grizzaffe

John Thomas Grizzaffe passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024, in Atlanta, GA, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Tommy was born on October 19, 1950 to Charlie and Elise Grizzaffe. He was the baby of the family and completely spoiled by his loving aunts and two siblings, Charlie Jr, and Virginia. After graduating from Hillsborough High School, he married Vicki Storm and started his family. He worked hard with his brother to make their father's produce company a success and he loved his job. He was a joy to all those who met him at the Tampa Farmers Market. Anyone who knew Tommy knew he loved fast cars, big boats, and flying his airplane. He was always looking for adventure, whether it be lobstering, jet skiing, or flying friends to Cedar Key for lunch! Tommy was always ready to share a meal and a joke with anyone who needed it. We know he is enjoying unlimited Veal Parmesan in heaven! His loving wife, Vicki, spent the last 54 years by his side and gave him the support he needed to live his best life. He loved her with all his heart and would tell everyone he met how beautiful and amazing she was. He was the best dad, but an even better granddad! His grandkids can tell you, no one liked to have more fun than their "Mac". He had a huge heart for his family and we are blessed that he was ours. The family would like to give a special thank you to Sherri Simpson-Lynch. Sherri was his loving caregiver who helped our family in tremendous ways. He would tell people she was his "second wife". He adored her and their relationship and laughter is one we will always treasure. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Elise. He is survived by his wife, Vicki, sons Chris and Nick (Angie), and daughter Lisa Garmendia (Chris). He has six beautiful grandchildren; Kendall, Brayden, Sophia (Joey), Coleson, Jocelyn and Natalie. In lieu of flowers, please honor Tommy's huge heart and giving spirit by helping those in need or donating to a charity of your choice.
