Lucy Duncan Robbins, age 70, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Lucy was born on January 11, 1956, in Newnan, GA to the late Howard Duncan and Essie Mae Edge Duncan. Lucy was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend whose greatest joy in life was spending time with those she loved. She cherished every opportunity to gather with family and friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter, love, and fellowship. Her warm smile and welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home. After retirement, Lucy embraced life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, attending family events, and making the most of every day. Her retirement years were some of her happiest, allowing her to spend more time with loved ones and pursue the activities she enjoyed most. Faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Baptist church, she found great comfort, strength, and purpose in her relationship with God. She loved her church family and was grateful for the friendships and fellowship she found there throughout the years. Above all, Lucy will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering love for her family, and her ability to bring people together. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that her life was a beautiful example of love, faith, and joy. The memorial service celebrating Lucy's life is on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Newnan with Pastor Kevin Couch and Nephew David Reese officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 4:00 PM until service time on Wednesday. Along with her parents, Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kenneth Robbins (2012), and fiancé Tony Wilbanks (2025). She is also preceded by her brother, Travis Michael Duncan. Lucy is survived by her brother, Rick Duncan (Aundrea); sisters, Carol Reese (Edgar), and Jill Welch (Steve); sister- in- law Tina Duncan; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and her beloved Rudy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Lucy's honor to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
