Sagrario Encarnacion McCullough

Mrs. Sagrario Encarnacion Mccullough, 67, of Newnan, formerly of Santa Barbara, Honduras, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Piedmont Henry Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1956 in Santa Rita Yoro, Honduras to the late Rafael Cardona & Angelica Cardona Mejia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Larry Kenneth McCullough, her oldest sister Yolanda Cardona Mejia, and brother Rene Cardona Mejia. Sagrario spent her childhood and teen years in Honduras before marrying Larry and relocating to the United States in 1977 with her daughter Karina. After coming to the United States, she went to Long's School of Cosmetology and became a hairdresser. At the height of her career, she was designated as a master stylist with Regis Salon's in Davenport, IA. After her husband retired in 2007, she moved to Newnan, GA to be closer to her daughter and her family. Since moving to Newnan, she has been a constant presence in her Grandkids and great grandson's lives. All her life, Sagrario was generous and kind. Always helping her family and friends when they needed her. She loved her family, taking care of her flowers and home, and dancing. The funeral is Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 o'clock at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA with her son-in-law John Espinosa officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The visitation is Saturday afternoon between 12:00 and 2:00 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan.
