Shirley Juanita Enloe

Juanita Ard Enloe, 68, of Atlanta died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 after a prolonged battle with lung disease. Born on June 23, 1937 in Savannah, GA., and raised in Chester S.C., she was voted "Wittiest" by her senior class at Chester High School. Both her extraordinary sense of humor and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life were testaments to Juanita's intelligence, vibrant personality and profound caring for others. An Atlanta resident for 45 years, Juanita was a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines for 15 years, after which she retired to raise her daughter, Jennifer Enloe, a graduate of Woodward Academy and Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Juanita returned to work in the 1980's as a client services representative for Laboratory South and later Quest Diagnostic Laboratories, where she received multiple awards for excellence. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newnan, GA. The Reverend Russell Kendrick will officiate. A reception will follow at the home of Lee H. Enloe, II in Newnan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made in the memory of Juanita A. Juanita is survived by, daughter, Jennifer Enloe & son-in-law, Matthew Kilcoyne of Washington, D.C.; sons, Lee H. Enloe, III & his wife Pam of Auburn, AL., Thomas H. Enloe & his wife Jan of Fayetteville, GA.; sisters, Peggy Freeman of Blackstock, S.C.; Patricia Ford of Chester, S.C.; brother, Cecil E. Ard of Westminster, CO.; devoted niece, Teresa Frazer of Oak Island, N.C.; former husband & friend, Lee H. Enloe, II of Newnan, GA.; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Enloe Wyatt of Newnan, GA., and grandchildren, Nathaniel T. Enloe, Jeremiah T. Enloe, Zachary T. Enloe, Amanda Enloe, and Natalie Enloe.
