Vonnda Renee Ingle

Ms. Vonnda Renee Jarvis Ingle, 58, of Moreland GA, formerly of Savannah, GA, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital after a long illness. She was born August 7, 1965, at Mary Telfair Women's Hospital in Savannah, GA, to the late John Rourke Jarvis Jr. and Nettie Mood Jarvis. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her nephew Owen Ellis Sandt. Renee was born into a military family and lived many places, but Savannah was always home. When she was born, her father was stationed in Korea, so when the nurse called for Mr. Jarvis, Nancy Thomas Smith stood in for him at the hospital. Renee graduated from Savannah High School in 1983, and briefly attended Armstrong State College. She decided teaching children was her passion and she became the first Montessori Teacher at "The Children's House" in Savannah, GA. While there, she impacted many of the young lives who came through the doors and was affectionately known as, "Miss Renee." She would frequently see her previous students which filled her heart with love. After leaving "The Children's House," she began a second career with Brassler USA. Renee loved the Lord and enjoyed singing in the church choirs at Windsor Forest Baptist Church and later at Life Church at Ardsley Park. Renee was kind, funny and easy to play tricks on. For many years she believed there was such a thing as, "horn fluid." The first time she took her car to be serviced she reminded the technician not to forget to check the "horn fluid". Renee loved her little, short haired Dachshunds, and missed Mocha terribly, but kept busy with Tootsie. The Funeral is Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 o'clock at Life Church at Ardsley Park, 3902 Bull Street, Savannah, GA. Dr. John Tillman and Dr. James Staubs will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah GA. The visitation will be Saturday, March 23 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 o'clock, at Life Church at Ardsley Park. Rather than flowers, the family requests a donation to your favorite charity. Condolences can be expressed online at www.mckoon.com Survivors include her mother, Nettie Mood Jarvis of Moreland GA; sister Selina Jarvis Brown (Robert) of Savannah, GA; brothers, John (Rou) Rourke Jarvis III (Rodolfo) of Moreland, GA, and Bernard Stefan Jarvis of Savannah, GA; niece Katherine Nettie Davis (Mathew) of Pooler, GA, nephews, Brighton Alexander Sandt of Savannah, GA, John Kaleb Jarvis of Savannah, GA, Steven Rourke Jarvis of Savannah, GA, Elijah Glenn Jarvis of Richmond Hill, GA; great nephew, Parker Brett Davis of Pooler, GA; and chosen daughter, Hillary Martinsen of Charleston, SC. She leaves behind many dear friends who already miss her terribly. We will all miss her smile, singing, and the sparkle in her eyes.
