Laura Beth Miller, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on January 21, 1981, in Moline, Illinois to Wayne and Debra Brain. Laura grew up with a spirit of adventure and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Laura's academic journey led her to the University of North Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Following graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career with Coca-Cola, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her work and building lasting relationships along the way. On December 21, 2013, Laura married the love of her life, Stephen Chase Miller. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, laughter, and their two cherished daughters, Audrey Jean and Lydia Sue. Laura's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She adored her girls and found immense happiness in nurturing their curiosity and sharing her passions with them. Laura's love for the outdoors was boundless. She found solace and excitement in every aspect of nature, but she was especially drawn to water. Whether she was swimming, boating, or simply sitting by the shore, Laura felt at home when surrounded by lakes, rivers, or oceans. Her vibrant spirit and adventurous heart inspired those around her to appreciate the wonders of the natural world. Laura's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her genuine compassion, and her ability to make every moment special. Laura is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen; her beloved daughters, Audrey Jean and Lydia Sue; her mother Debra; her brother Adam; her grandmother Bethel Meads and countless friends and family members who loved her deeply. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in her life. A celebration of Laura's life will be held on January 18th at the family's residence.
