Mark Noles Meacham

The time has come to honor and celebrate the life and home going of Mark Noles Meacham. Mark age 74 took his heavenly flight on April 19, 2025 with his family by his side. Mark was born on November 10, 1950 in Roanoke, Alabama to Zollie and Lucrete Meacham. On February 28, 1969 he married Wilma May Meacham. the two were each other's lifelong companions. They were blessed with two sons Mark Shane Meacham and Timothy Gerald Meacham. Mark was a man of integrity. He was a godly man And his life was a great example of his strong Christian and family values. He and his wife owned a drapery business and also worked as youth leaders in the church for many years. His hobbies included working in his wood shop, cutting grass, and antique shopping. spending time with his family and friends was the most important to him. He was a wonderful friend, husband and grandfather and a pillar of the community. Mark left a beautiful imprint of generosity, jokes, smiles and godly love with anyone that knew him. Here are some words about Mark from his family; He was a hero and encourager, a role model for his godly and family values. Granddaddy had the best jokes he could make anyone laugh. He always loved and supported us. He taught us how to drive and work hard with our hands. He never met a stranger and he helped us see how simple and beautiful life really is. Granddaddy loved with his whole heart and treated others as his very own He was always generious sharing his antique treasures with others and i loved our conversations about the bible and funny stories. Dad taught us a great work ethic. He said never look at the task ahead just work hard and it will be over before you know it. He raised good sons and a great family. We are all very proud to carry the Meacham name and continue instilling the godly values he always taught to us into our children and grandchildren. Proceeded in death by his parents, Zollie and Lucrete Meacham he is survived by his lifelong sweetheart Wilma May Meacham of 56 years Shane Meacham, son, Tim Meacham, son and wife, Robin Meacham. grandchildren were Danielle Griffin and husband, Chad Griffin, Brock Meacham Colton Meacham, Bren Meacham, Caylee meacham Torres and husband Hector Torres, Luke Meacham, Caden Meacham and Seth Meacham great grandchildren Addalyn Reese Roberts, Charlie Rae Griffin, and Arizona Boatman. Sheila Ogle sister and Gerald Meacham, brother. A memorial service for Mark Noles Meacham will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11 AM at his home 6806 Ridgeway Rd., Franklin, GA 30217. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join the celebration of His home going. services will be led by Pastor Scott Rice, a pastor of The Church of God of the Union Assembly in which Mark was a member.
