Rosalie Mullin: A Life of Love and Generosity Rosalie Mullin, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving and adoring family on May 21, 2024 at the age of 85. Born on December 6, 1938, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Rosalie was a beacon of warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who knew her. Rosalie graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1956, the same year she married the love of her life, Charlie W. Mullin Jr. Their marriage, a beautiful testament to enduring love and partnership, spanned 67 joyful years. A woman of many passions, Rosalie found immense joy in bird watching, spending countless hours in her flower garden, where the beauty of nature always surrounded her. Her green thumb and love for gardening made her home a vibrant and welcoming haven. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and she took great pleasure in creating magical holiday experiences filled with Santa Claus, delicious home-cooked meals, twinkling decorations, and heartfelt hospitality. Rosalie's career as a hair stylist spanned 37 years, during which she not only enhanced the beauty of her clients but also uplifted their spirits with her generous and caring nature. Her salon was more than just a place of work; it was a community where lifelong friendships blossomed. Rosalie's generosity extended well beyond her professional life. She was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word, embodying a spirit of giving that left a lasting impact on her community and loved ones. Rosalie is survived by her devoted husband, Charlie W. Mullin Jr., and their three children: C. Wade Mullin of Tucson, AZ (and wife Linda), Lois Elaine Moore of Newnan,GA (and husband Randy), and Edith Marie Mullin. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Melissa Rose Crofts of Buchanan, GA (and husband Grayson), C. Travis Mullin of Denver, CO (and wife Rhylie), Devon Virginia Smith of Brooklyn, NY and Adrian Glenn Moore of Smyrna, GA (and wife Stephanie), as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Oaklend and Kaya Crofts; and sister Mary Katherine Stokes. Rosalie's legacy of love and kindness is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garlon and Alma Phillips, and her siblings: Garlon R. Phillips, Ann Marie Musselman, and Alice Elizabeth Dobbs-Melton. Rosalie Mullin's life was a testament to love, generosity, and the joy of simple pleasures and a glass of wine. Her memory will forever bloom in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Rosalie.
